CTRL+Z isn’t just for text… it can be your whoopsie button in many scenarios!
- Did you accidentally (soft) delete a file or move a file? Hit the magic combination and it’ll jump straight back. Only works if you’ve recycled the file though! ♻️
- Excel & Spreadsheets – Have you typed over your colleague’s formula who is an excel whizz and has written a formula about 100 characters long itself? CTRL+Z is your friend 😝
- If you’ve renamed a file or folder and instantly regretted it, the quickest way to revert is a quick CTRL+Z – no more hunting through backups.
This doesn’t always cut it though because now, more than ever, it’s important to have some healthy, robust backups in place for your Microsoft 365, Google, computers, servers, websites… you name it!
