I’ve had a few people ask me about the ladybird – what’s the relevance/significance?
Well for one, we squash any bugs we find in our client’s computer systems. The term bug refers to a malfunctioning piece of code or functionality within an application – we do our best to either repair or avoid them. So bugs are very important to us!
Also, my Mum (Anne-Marie Milliner) was an incredible lady who sadly passed away from Cancer in 2022. She still continues to have an extensive impact on how I run AmbroTech and how our clients receive support. She was always big on human connection, paying close attention to people around you and valuing the thoughts and feelings of others.
As she lived her final days, she was surrounded by an unusually common occurence of ladybugs and even after her passing, our family continued to see ladybugs all over the place and so the insect hold a special meaning to my family.
Fun fact: Ladybug in Latvian (My fiancee’s native language) is “Marīte” which sounds like “Marija te” which means “Marie is here”.
