Whereas Yellow Chalk Ltd (Made-up) would panic for about 10 minutes before calling as many computer repair companies on Google as they can and then once they get their hands on a new laptop (which could be next-day delivery), you need to remember all of your passwords, your software, your settings etc.
I’m sure from this description I don’t need to explain the importance of good backups and disaster recovery plans. Not only could you save yourself from a financial and time loss, you could also save yourself hours, maybe days of stress with a simple, robust plan.
