I wear many hats: father, partner, and most importantly, a man trying to navigate life with respectful confidence and love.
With my kids, I make many concious efforts to communicate very clearly and outline boundaries, expectations etc from very early in the process instead of leaving it to them to realise why I’m not happy with them. I think this side of me makes surprise appearances in my career as the MD of AmbroTech as I pride myself on giving clear information on the current state of a project as well as the next steps and how to get there. Clear communication without my clients needing to ask for the information first.
To be candid, I struggle with not having clarity and organisation in all of my endeavours. Unless there’s a schedule or a process for washing up, it gets forgotten or done to a bad standard! Unless there’s a date and time for a haircut appointment, there’s zero chance I’m finding the time for a drop-in appointment.
Exactly the same applies to my work: if there is no set date, deadline, criteria for a migration then it might as well not have been spoken about. This is why there are NO loose ends at AmbroTech – every single project, quote, ticket has the next update in writing ready to be actioned or looked at.
I’d have it no other way and neither would my valued customers. I’m lucky to have amazing clients who appreciate that aspect of what we do.
